What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to all persons at the location by following Allied Universal security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including reporting hazards disruptive behavior and/or suspicious activity to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout interior areas exterior grounds and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations; working environments and conditions may vary by site area.
• Control access to restricted areas by monitoring doors badge readers visitor check-in processes and/or deliveries and by directing visitors to appropriate departments while supporting privacy and confidentiality expectations common in healthcare settings.
• Complete security-related documentation such as patrol logs incident reports and shift activity reports and communicate pertinent information during shift handoff and/or through established reporting channels.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• A guard card and/or security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
