Job Summary
Job Title: ERCP Technician
Location: Plano TX
Duration: 6 Weeks
Shift: 11:00 AM 7:30 PM
Pay: $26/hr
Job Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced ERCP Technician to join a Gastroenterology/Endoscopy team. The ideal candidate will bring advanced technical knowledge to support physicians in complex endoscopic procedures including ERCP and Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS). This role is essential in ensuring patient safety procedural efficiency and high-quality outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist physicians during Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) procedures
Provide direct clinical support for Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS) examinations
Prepare procedure rooms instruments and equipment prior to cases
Set up calibrate and operate endoscopy and fluoroscopy equipment
Ensure proper selection handling cleaning and sterilization of specialized instruments
Monitor patient status and procedural flow in collaboration with clinical staff
Maintain accurate procedure documentation and equipment usage records
Ensure compliance with infection prevention standards and safety protocols
Stock supplies troubleshoot equipment issues and support daily department readiness
Participate in ongoing education and competency development
Perform additional duties as assigned to support patient care and unit operations
Required Qualifications:
ERCP experience required
Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS) experience required
Previous experience in endoscopy GI lab or procedural care environment
Understanding of sterile field principles and medical instrumentation
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to remain calm and focused during complex procedures
