About the Opportunity
Star Nursing is seeking detail-oriented Pharmacy Technicians to support prior authorization and intake operations within a fast-paced pharmacy services environment.
This role focuses on improving medication access by managing authorization workflows coordinating with providers and payers and ensuring timely processing of requests.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and submit prior authorization requests
- Track authorization status and follow up for timely approvals
- Coordinate with clinics providers payers and patients
- Maintain accurate documentation and records
- Support intake and workflow operations
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and organizational standards
Minimum Qualifications
- Active Texas Pharmacy Technician license
- Ability to work onsite in Farmers Branch TX
- Strong attention to detail
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Experience
- Prior authorization or pharmacy intake experience
- Experience working with insurance plans and payer systems
- Familiarity with pharmacy workflow automation systems
