Role Information
The school is seeking a Design & Technology ECT to join the department as soon as possible. This role is ideal for an Early Career Teacher looking to develop their practice in a supportive and structured environment.
You will teach D&T across KS3 and KS4 delivering practical and theory-based lessons that encourage innovation and independent thinking. You will support students through design projects coursework and practical assessments working closely with experienced technicians and colleagues.
As part of the schools ECT programme you will benefit from a reduced teaching timetable structured CPD and ongoing mentoring tailored to your development needs.
Requirements
QTS (or pending QTS)
A degree in Design & Technology or a related discipline
Confidence delivering practical lessons safely and effectively
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Enthusiasm for hands-on learning and design innovation
