FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN

Location: Lakeland FL

ROLE SUMMARY

We are looking for a driven and technically skilled Field Service Technician to support the installation maintenance and servicing of advanced LED display systems. This position involves both hands-on technical work and direct customer interaction requiring professionalism adaptability and strong troubleshooting abilities. Work environments may include schools commercial locations and secure facilities such as military sites.

PRIMARY DUTIES

Installation & Maintenance: Perform setup diagnostics repairs and preventative maintenance on LED display systems to ensure optimal operation.
Customer Support: Respond to urgent service needs by providing on-call remote or on-site assistance including after-hours support when required.
Warehouse Support: Assemble test and conduct burn-in processes for LED panels and cabinets during periods without travel.
Travel Coordination: Arrange personal travel as needed for service calls and accurately submit expense documentation.
Technical Development: Keep up to date with new product releases tools and evolving LED display technologies.
Team Collaboration: Work alongside other technicians to complete complex installations within scheduled timelines.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Background Check: Clean criminal and driving record (required for access to secure facilities).
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Driver s License: Valid and in good standing.
Physical Capability: Ability to lift up to 25 lbs repeatedly and work at heights using ladders lifts or scaffolding.
Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of electrical systems and construction practices; comfortable working with PCs and troubleshooting software issues.
Professional Presentation: Must maintain a clean professional appearance when working on customer sites.

PREFERRED SKILLS

Experience with LED control platforms such as Novastar Colorlight or Brompton.
Familiarity with AutoCAD or similar design software.
Valid passport for possible international travel assignments.
