Lead QA Automation Engineer

Work Hours: Full-time (40 hours/week)

The Lead QA Automation Test Engineer will lead the design development and execution of automated and manual testing solutions to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. This role partners closely with development and agile scrum teams to define testing strategies automate acceptance criteria identify defects and promote best practices across the organization.

1. Test Automation & API Testing Selenium Cypress Postman; REST/SOAP services

2. Test Management & Tools Jira qTest HP ALM

3. Programming & Data Skills JavaScript TypeScript SQL (advanced querying)

• 5 7 years of hands-on software quality assurance experience

• Strong experience designing and executing automated test frameworks

• Experience with version control systems (e.g. SVN)

• Solid understanding of web services and API testing

• Proven ability to collaborate across engineering product and business teams

• Strong communication skills and comfort aligning testing goals across teams

• Healthcare or claims domain experience

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

• ISTQB Certification

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM)

• Bachelors degree required

• Masters degree in a technical or quantitative field preferred

• Lead the design development maintenance and execution of automated test scripts

• Translate acceptance criteria into automated and manual test cases

• Execute functional regression and API testing

• Review test automation code and promote best practices

• Analyze test results document defects and verify resolutions

• Integrate automated test suites with CI/CD pipelines

• Develop and maintain quality standards procedures and metrics

• Create clear testing and status reports for project stakeholders

• Mentor and guide junior QA engineers

• Participate in agile ceremonies and cross-functional reviews

• Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality software through thorough testing

• Maintain testing artifacts and documentation aligned with quality standards

• Continuously improve testing processes and automation coverage
