Position Overview

We are seeking a Structural Engineer (EIT or PE) to join our engineering team in Fargo ND. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys hands-on problem-solving structural design and cross-functional collaboration.

The Structural Engineer will support design development perform detailed technical calculations and ensure projects meet all safety regulatory and performance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Perform structural calculations and detailed analysis for steel-framed projects
Assist with design modeling and preparation of drawings using CAD Revit RISA 3D and Bluebeam
Collaborate closely with design engineering and project management teams
Ensure designs comply with applicable building codes safety standards and project specifications
Provide technical input to support value engineering and project optimization initiatives
Participate in problem-solving discussions and continuous improvement efforts

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering
Active Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification required
Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
Strong foundation in structural analysis and engineering calculations
Proficiency with structural design and analysis software (CAD Revit RISA 3D Bluebeam)
Excellent problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
Ability to work full-time on-site in Fargo ND
