AsGroup Risk Manageryoulllead the design and continuous improvement of UnitingCares Risk Management and Safeguarding Frameworks. Working within our respectedGroup Risk and Assurance teamyoullpartner across a large complex organisationengaging with stakeholders from frontline teams to executives.

Your part in our UnitingCare team:
- Shape the future of risk and safeguarding by leading strategy frameworks and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Design and implement innovative risk tools and systems to enhance monitoring reporting and escalation.
- Partner with senior leaders to align risk with business strategy projects and regulatory requirements.
- Influence decision-making at the highest level through clear insightful risk reporting to executives and boards.
- Drive project success by supporting teams inidentifyingand managing risks effectively.
- Build organisational capability through impactful risk training and culture programs.
- Lead and inspire a high-performing team fostering collaboration and excellence in risk and safeguarding.
- Champion a culture of accountability and continuous improvement empowering balanced decision-making across the organisation.
What makes a difference for us
- Confidence to satisfy the relevant probity checks required by legislation or may include:
- Nationally Coordinated Police Check
- Right to Work in Australia
- Child Safety and Personal History Screening (LCS2)
- 8 years experience in risk management or a related field.
- Expert knowledge of enterprise risk management and policy development.
- Strong ability to prepare and present reports to senior stakeholders and boards.
- Proven strategic thinking and decision-making in dynamic environments.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Knowledge of health aged care community services and not-for-profit environments including risk management systems and contemporary Safeguarding and Child Safe practices.(Desirable)
- Tertiary qualification inriskbusiness humanresourcesor a related field
- Qualificationsknowledgeand experience in project management
