About us
Wintringham is a renowned not-for-profit organisation providing affordable high-quality housing support aged care and NDIS services to people over 50 who have experienced or are at risk of homelessness. Our care model is built on empowerment partnership and advocacy for older people respecting individuality and striving for equality and social justice. We employ more than 1000 staff across Victoria and Tasmania.
Your new role
As a People & Culture (P&C) Advisor youll be the trusted first point of contact for employees and managers providing timely credible and consistent people advice across the employee lifecycle. Reporting to and supported by an experienced P&C Partner youll play a key role in recruitment onboarding employee relations workforce planning and change management initiatives.
Youll work collaboratively across the organisation to ensure seamless people processes maintain accurate data and system integrity and help develop innovative solutions to improve efficiency and employee experience. Youll also assist with complex or sensitive cases maintaining confidentiality compliance and Wintringhams values.
Your duties and responsibilities will include:
Building collaborative trusted relationships with employees and managers as a supportive P&C contact
Delivering seamless recruitment onboarding and retention processes in partnership with the P&C Partner
Providing first-level support and advice on people policies and matters
Administering people systems ensuring data integrity and confidentiality
Contributing to P&C projects and continuous improvement initiatives
We are looking for candidates with the following:
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources Business or a related discipline
Experience in a HR administrator officer or advisor role supporting the full employee lifecycle
Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation and compliance frameworks
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
A solutions-focused mindset and commitment to continuous improvement
