As a Sales Engineer focused on Carrier Services youll serve as a trusted technical advisor to internal teams partners and customershelping to shape and deliver solutions that drive revenue and customer success.

This is a dynamic customer-facing role where your technical expertise and communication skills will directly influence how customers perceive our value. Youll be instrumental in designing and presenting solutions across colocation WAN and carrier services while collaborating cross-functionally to ensure timely high-quality proposals.

What Youll Do

• Provide pre-sales technical guidance to sales teams partners and customers.
• Design and present network and colocation solutions tailored to customer needs.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear compelling business value.
• Prepare technical documentation including solution design drawings.
• Respond to RFIs/RFPs and support proposal development.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate solution delivery.
• Travel within the sales territory as needed.

What Were Looking For

• Associates or Bachelors degree in Business Networking or Computer Science preferred.
• 5 years of experience in data communications with a focus on Carrier services.
• Strong knowledge of:
  • WAN technologies (Optical Wave Carrier/Metro Ethernet MPLS VPN SD-WAN Private Line)
  • SONET DWDM and routing protocols like BGP
  • Colocation infrastructure power distribution and cross-connects
  • Network security principles and best practices
• Proficiency in Salesforce Visio PowerPoint Excel and Google Earth.
• Excellent communication organization and multitasking skills.
• Valid drivers license and clean driving record.
• CCNA or CCNP certification preferred.

Working Conditions and Physical Demands:

This position may be performed in either a standard office setting or a home office environment. It requires prolonged periods of sitting frequent use of a computer and other office equipment and effective time management in a self-directed work environment. Occasional lifting of items up to 20 pounds may be required.
