About the Role

We are currently seeking highly motivated and compassionate Support Workers to join our team. As a Support Worker you will play a crucial role in enhancing the lives of individuals with disabilities by providing personalised care and support tailored to their unique needs and goals.

Albion Park & Barrack Heights:

This service involves supporting individuals with complex care needs including epilepsy seizures mental health challenges autism and behaviour support. Applicants must understand the demands of complex care and be prepared to work in a dynamic environment that requires adaptability resilience and a proactive approach.

Blackbutt:

This service involves supporting individuals with dementia schizophrenia bipolar disorder behaviour support and age-related health concerns. Experience in aged care would be highly beneficial along with patience empathy and the ability to provide calm person-centred support.

Across services successful applicants will need to demonstrate:

  • High emotional intelligence
  • Ability to exude calmness under pressure
  • Being attuned to participants needs
  • A proactive approach to care and support

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering high-quality support services to customers with disabilities
  • Assisting clients in their daily living activities such as personal care mobility and skill development
  • Promoting community integration and supporting clients in accessing social and recreational activities
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualised support plans
  • Encouraging independence and empowering clients to achieve their personal goals
  • Advocating for the rights and needs of individuals with disabilities
