Job Summary

A vacancy has arisen for a Sgt (Gnr) to serve as SNCO Plans & Resources A7 Co-ord on Training Support Sqn RAF Regiment Training Wing at RAF Honington on Full Time Reserve Service (Limited Commitment) Terms and Conditions of Service (TCoS) with an initial proposed start date of 29 June 2026 (or earlier/later subject to candidate status).

Brief description of role:

Working within the RAF Regiment Training Wing (RRTW) Training Support Squadron - SNCO Plans & Resources A7 Co-ord is responsible for the management and allocation of the RRTW ammunition ATE annual CASP submission and Bidding and Allocation Management System (BAMS).

Resourcing RRTW courses production of training programmes ensuring JSP 822 alignment and liaison with delivery squadrons.

If the incumbent has not completed the mandated BAMS training available through the DLE they will be expected to complete the training prior to starting the role.

SNCO Plans & Resources A7 Co-ord Responsible for:

Management of the Trg Wg ATE AinU and liaison with ESA informing CoCs across the RRTW of wastage and stock levels when required.
Act as the focal point for BAMS and the management of resources for all Co-ordinated Trg Wg A7 activities.
Amending the master programs for respective Trg Wg courses in liaison with TSS Spec Trainer.
The amendment and control of lesson plans as directed by the course sponsor.
The maintenance of an updated set of publications and recording of current and proposed amendments.
Ensuring all the Instructional staff adhere to the current Learning Specifications (LSpecs).
Providing guidance and assistance to the training teams on training issues and provide training support as required.
Act as a Wing focal point for external agencies (CDT IFPT support Gp ect.) on all training issues.
