Job Summary
Baskervill is an award-winning multi-disciplinary design firm with offices throughout the country and in Gdansk Poland. Our Richmond office is currently looking for an IT Specialist to join our growing firm. Were seeking a customer service-oriented individual who is passionate about helping others to provide first level support and assistance to users. Sound interesting Lets talk!
What youll be doing:
- Stage image deploy and manage desktop/laptop hardware and software using/managing client orchestration tools
- Create and maintain OS images software deployment packages licensing and system documentation
- Provide first-level desktop support troubleshooting training and backup help desk coverage
- Enforce IT policies security standards and software licensing compliance on all systems
- Manage phone systems printers plotters copiers and vendor maintenance relationships
- Coordinate user onboarding/offboarding device management upgrades and shared resources
- Build strong internal client relationships and support the BIM Manager/Director as needed
What youll need:
- Associates degree in an IT related field or equivalent professional experience
- 35 years of IT support experience including helpdesk desktop hardware/software and troubleshooting
- 35 years supporting Windows desktop environments and end-user systems
- 12 years of telecommunications experience including phone systems and VoIP
- Certifications such as CompTIA A Network and CCNA preferred
- Working knowledge of Ethernet networking and TCP/IP
- Experience supporting and troubleshooting networks routers and switches
