Job Description Summary
The Clinical Education Specialist for Surgery is responsible for providing technical and clinical education to customers and prospective clients including surgeons operating room staff and biomedical engineers. This role supports both pre-sales activitiessuch as product demonstrations and workflow discussionsand post-sale education including on-site clinical training and optimization sessions. The position plays a critical role in driving customer satisfaction supporting adoption and showcasing the value of GE Healthcare Surgery solutions. Roles and Responsibilities
- Deliver technical and clinical information to customers and prospects by demonstrating the full range of Surgery product features and benefits.
- Support pre-sales activities by conducting product demonstrations workflow discussions and clinical presentations to prospective customers.
- Develop coordinate and deliver product training to customers on software applications and surgical workflows within the GE Healthcare Surgery portfolio.
- Monitor and enhance customer satisfaction through continuing education optimization of equipment performance and best-practice sharing.
- Partner with commercial teams to provide clinical expertise during sales cycles and assist in developing impactful sales tools.
- Support trade shows and professional conferences by performing GE Healthcare product demonstrations and promoting solutions to prospective customers.
- Provide post-training reports and regular feedback on customer satisfaction and needs to internal Sales and Service teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Biomedical Engineering Clinical Science or related field.
- Ability to build strong relationships with an open and flexible approach to working in clinical environments.
- Willingness to travel extensively within your specified geographic region and nationwide for trainings sales meetings and tradeshows (up to 80%).
- Valid driving record for positions requiring operation of company or rental vehicles.
- Strong problem-solving skills (ability to manage and resolve conflict communicate issues and propose solutions to both internal teams and external customers).
- Proven professional business acumen (experience interfacing with internal teams and external customers as part of a solution-based sales process).
- Self-motivated proactive in identifying opportunities for improvement and taking action.
- Team-oriented with a strong customer satisfaction mindset.
- Ability to multi-task effectively and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong presentation skills (public speaking and lecture experience desired).
- Effective communication skills in local language and fluency in English.
Desired Characteristics
- Basic clinical/medical knowledge is highly desirable.
- Three or more years of demonstrated clinical experience in surgical imaging or related modality.
- Familiarity with operating room workflows and surgical procedures.
- Experience performing a similar role in clinical education or applications support.
