Job Summary

Heres what you need to know about the role:

Youll join our team in a full-time twelve-month salaried position reporting to one of our experienced Housekeeping Managers.

As a Housekeeping Supervisor youll oversee the housekeeping staff within a large university residential hall system. Your responsibilities will include hiring training inspecting and evaluating team members to ensure exceptional standards. Youll also lead initiatives to improve processes and manage operational challenges effectively.

Your mission: Maintain a clean sanitary and safe environment for all residents. In this role youll serve as a vital link between upper-level management and housekeeping staff ensuring smooth communication and consistent quality.

Additionally youll have the chance to grow and take advantage of a developmental plan with opportunities to advance within the Department and the Division.

Required Qualifications

Proven experience supervising housekeeping personnel.
Comprehensive knowledge of commercial and industrial cleaning methods chemicals and equipment as well as OSHA and other applicable safety and health regulations.
Proficiency in operating commercial cleaning equipment.
Strong customer service and communication skills for effective interaction with employees team members students and visitors.
Ability to follow both oral and written instructions accurately.

Preferred Qualifications

Proficiency with computers including experience using Windows and Microsoft Office applications such as Word Excel and Outlook.
High school diploma or equivalent education.
Previous experience working in a large university environment delivering exceptional customer service to a diverse community.
