Our client in Greenville SC is growing due to increased demands across multi-discipline projects includingcivil mechanical electrical and forensic engineering. They are expanding their Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) services to better support regional clientsand are looking for a Professional Engineer (P.E.) in Mechanical Engineering to help lead that growth. This is a direct hire position for our client.
Salary:$70000 to $120000 Depending on Experience
Location: Greenville SC (100% Onsite)
What Youll Do
As a PE Mechanical Engineer youll play a key role in designing reviewing and delivering high-quality MEP systems across a variety of projects.
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Lead the design and engineering of HVAC plumbing piping and fire protection systems
- Perform load calculations energy modeling and equipment selection
- Produce construction drawings specifications and details using AutoCAD and Revit
- Conduct site visits review submittals and support construction administration
- Collaborate with electrical civil and structural teams for integrated designs
- Mentor junior engineers/designers and perform QA/QC reviews
- Support client meetings schedules budgets and project coordination
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Experience with HVAC plumbing piping and fire protection design
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
- Working knowledge of ASHRAE NFPA and state/local mechanical codes
- Previous Project Management experience
- Forensic engineering or failure analysis experience a plus
- LEED acreditation a plus
- Construction Management background a plus
