Job Summary

Registered Manager (Ofsted) Lead Inspire Transform!

Location: Longbenton - Newcastle upon Tyne
Provision: 3-Bed Childrens Home (EBD & Mild LD)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday
Salary: To be determined based on experience
Reporting To: Responsible Individual

About the Role

Are you a Deputy Manager ready to step up or a Registered Manager looking for a company that truly values its staff This is an exciting opportunity to lead a high-quality person-centred childrens home providing a warm homely and nurturing environment.

As Registered Manager you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the home ensuring that Ofsted requirements are met and exceeded while empowering your team to deliver outstanding care.

Supports Children Aged 7-17 (on admission)
Specialisms: Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) Mild Learning Disabilities (LD)
Focus on Therapeutic & Person-Centred Support

Who Were Looking For

We are searching for a passionate and experienced leader who is committed to delivering exceptional care to young people and developing a strong motivated team.

Essential Requirements

Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (or working towards it)
At least 3 years experience in a residential childcare setting
Experience in EBD LD SEMH CCE PSB Therapeutic or Crisis homes
Strong leadership & team-building skills

Desirable Qualities

Experience leading Ofsted inspections
Passion for creating a warm homely and child-focused environment
A drive to exceed Ofsted standards and continuously improve care quality

Key Responsibilities

Lead & Manage the home ensuring high standards of care and compliance
Support & Develop your staff fostering a positive and nurturing work culture
Build & Maintain strong relationships with the community and key stakeholders
Ensure Safeguarding & Compliance with Ofsted submitting required documentation
Drive Continuous Improvement ensuring outstanding care for every young person
