What you will do
- Frequent customer engagement activities including detailing and facilitating educational events on the Santen product portfolio ensuring alignment with approved label indications and Codes of Conduct.
- Independently organize and facilitate regional Santen education events and represent Santen at international Congress events as defined by Management managing key account relations in the designated area.
- Continuously collect customer feedback and share insights with relevant stakeholders.
- Conduct market trend and regional performance evaluations using the pan-European CRM environment dashboards reporting and sales force incentive systems.
- Evaluate and manage regional customer segmentation and targeting implementation using the Santen CRM system.
- Execute other action items or projects as defined by Cluster/Country and/or EMEA Management.
- Drive sales growth secure regional productivity and provide insights about customer feedback development trends and the competitive landscape.
- Continuously follow up on key performance measures including sales targets territory planning and key performance indicators in collaboration with national management.
- Track and define potential performance gaps against benchmarks and plan corrective actions in close collaboration with the Country and Nordic CE Manager.
- Ensure promotional compliance as defined by country-specific Codes of Conduct legislation Santen Policies SOPs and internal Code of Conduct guidelines.
- Adhere to general and local Santen policies and complete all required administrative duties on time.
- Maintain required medical and commercial knowledge core competencies and skillsets independently and with regional management. Proactively follow up self-educate and record all relevant Santen policies guidelines and SOPs.
- Collect and report all safety information (e.g. adverse events) to Santen Oy Pharmacovigilance Unit and all quality-related information (e.g. quality complaints) to Santen Oy Quality Assurance department according to current requirements.
Qualifications :
What you will bring to the role
- At least 2-3 years of experience in Pharmaceutical sales force work in prescription driven promotion.
- Experience in ophthalmology is a strong advantage but not essential.
- Proven track record and know-how of pharmaceutical industry in terms of Sales & Marketing activities.
- Customer service driven orientation above all for the basis of successful relations management.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to successfully interact with target audience and Internal/external stakeholders.
- Ability to create insights from customer feedback competitive intelligence market research data and translate into commercially relevant information for decision-making.
- Team player who has self-driven ability to work independently.
- High commitment to Market performance.
- Good analytical skills for regional performance follow-up and market trend evaluation.
- Experience of working with a variety of data sources (ie lMS Cegedim dashboards etc) and IT applications (MS Excel data bases etc.)
- Polytechnic Bachelor or comparable degree in Medical or Commercial education.
- Fluency in English - oral & written.
