Ink Service 2 1st Shift

• The primary responsibility of this position is to provide assistance and support to the production team during makeready.
• Makeready team members will be involved in equipment preparation plate mounting ink mixing and makeready activities in the production areas of the facilities.
• The purpose of this team is to provide assistance supplies and services to all production equipment (MP etc.) in order to reduce makeready and increase manufacturing efficiencies.
• Team member must work in a team environment with minimum supervision cooperate and work with others share information and take the initiative to improve the makeready process and solve problems.

Qualifications :

• Prepares any and all necessary job tools including job packets plates dies inks ect. for upcoming work
• Assists with make-readies
• Inspects the fountain solution inking systems rolls of paper and the mechanisms related to the reels
• Maintains proper storage of plates
• Ensures that the roll of paper is properly unwrapped mounted and ready to be spliced
• Adheres to and promotes all safety policies and procedures including but not limited to the proper handling of hazardous waste lock out - tag out rules and hearing and eye protection policies
• Performs other related duties and participates in special projects as assigned
• It is the responsibility of all employees to follow the requirements of their documented process as defined in the ISO Quality Manual

The pay range for this role at the noted location is $22.89 to $37.13 per hour. The actual rate of pay offered may vary based upon but not limited to: education skills experience proficiency performance shift and addition to base salary depending on the role the total compensation package may also include overtime shift differential call-in and stand-by pay.
