Qualifications Overall Responsibilities Produces components by assembling parts and subassemblies. Major Duties and Responsibilities Obtain work instructions from supervisor. Work from written and verbal instructions purchase orders invoices delivery slips and similar records. Prepare work by studying assembly instructions blueprints and parts lists; gathering parts tools and materials. Position parts and subassemblies using templates or measurements. Assemble components by examining connections and fastening parts. Verify specifications by measuring completed components. Resolve assembly problems; notify supervisor when needed. Complete preventive maintenance and troubleshoot equipment. Maintain a safe and clean work environment. Maintain supply inventory; place and verify orders. Conserve resources by using equipment and supplies efficiently. Document actions on production and quality forms. Contribute to team efforts. Help maintain housekeeping of warehouses and building grounds. Detect faulty equipment operation incorrect orders damaged items and shortages. Follow all company safety policies. Maintain warehouse housekeeping and 5S. Perform other duties as assigned. Participate in all HPT functions. Qualification Requirements Must be able to perform essential duties satisfactorily; reasonable accommodations available. Must be computer proficient. Education and Experience High school diploma or 1 year related work experience preferred. Language Skills Ability to read instructions drawings specifications charts tables and precision measuring tools. Mathematical Skills Ability to use basic math and read a ruler. Reasoning Abilities Requires judgment to plan and perform work. Physical Demands Regularly required to stand walk use hands reach stoop kneel crouch talk hear and smell. Lift/move 10 lbs regularly 25 lbs occasionally and 50 lbs occasionally. Work Environment Exposure to moving mechanical parts occasional outdoor weather vibration; moderate noise level.
