Liberty Healthcare operates a 10-bed acute psychiatric stabilization unit which serves adults who are justice-involved and experiencing acute mental illness.
The unit is located onsite at the Maguire Correctional Facility - a San Mateo County jail located in Redwood City CA.
The unit admits and treats patients who are under the conditions of an involuntary civil commitment and provides individualized assessment and treatment interventions aimed at achieving psychiatric stability as soon as clinically appropriate. Services are trauma-informed and rooted in the recovery model.
As a Mental Health Worker with Liberty Healthcare you will fulfill a vital role and be responsible for:
In this role you will work alongside an experienced team of clinicians. Youll receive both structured training and hands-on learning opportunities gaining practical skills that strengthen your expertise in mental health care. Most importantly your work will have a direct impact on the lives of individuals who are experiencing mental illness.
