The Role:
Condé Nast Italy is looking for an experienced Data & Performance Specialist to temporarily join the local Consumer Business Team. Based in Milan and reporting to the local Head of Marketing the person will be responsible for the correct management of local and global databases and the related initiatives. They will ensure that data coming from all consumer-related activities of Condé Nast Italy are stored appropriately and use dedicated tools to extract useful insights and detailed reports from them. Finally they will represent a key point of contact between the Consumer Business team and other internal stakeholders (e.g. Editorial Sales and Engineering Team) to ensure an efficient use of data for the improvement of existing processes and the growth of the local and global business.
Please note that this role will join Condé Nast Italy with a fixed-term contract (Maternity Cover) of maximum 12 months
Primary Responsibilities:
Monitor and coordinate all data activities across all brands and different businesses ensuring consistency and alignment with strategic priorities
Partner closely with the Engineering team to support the implementation of new features integrations and ongoing platform maintenance
Define clear business requirements to enrich our marketing database with actionable information
Conduct testing activities to validate that technical deliverables reflect the requested specifications
Ensure full compliance with legal and privacy constraints related to user contactability managing the unsubscribe process as well
Support both global and local developments from a data perspective
Create target lists and audience clusters by analyzing user interests demographics and by using lookalike models
Deliver detailed analyses that respond to commercial and consumer business needs
Develop predictive models focused on purchase propensity and high-value customer identification
Produce performance analyses and reporting across channels brands and consumer initiatives sharing insights with Consumer Editorial and Commercial teams
Shape targeting strategies and building clusters for CRM campaigns for consumer commercial and event initiatives
Coordinate paid media activities for Vogue Collection subscriptions and other consumer businesses including planning optimization and monitoring in partnership with our digital agency
Primary Skills & Qualifications:
2 years of Digital Marketing and Data Analysis professional experience
Masters degree in Economics Statistical Science or Quantitative Science
Knowledge of SQL/MySQL Databricks DBeaver SPSS SAS R or other programming languages designed for data analysis
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office / Google Suite
Knowledge of Looker Studio
Knowledge of BI platforms (e.g. Power BI)
Knowledge of DMP and CDP platforms (e.g. Permutive Treasure Data)
Knowledge of Meta Ads Google Ads Manager
Experience in applying predictive models and segmentation techniques
Ability to summarize and represent analysis results
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Italian and English
Comfortable with handling email and conversation in English and being part of an international team
Commitment to meeting deadline dates
Passion for Digital Media and Marketing
