Your Role: As Strategy and Partnerships Manager you will support the strategic development of News Broadcasting by building profitable audio and video partnerships including driving international growth for talkSPORT as a world class sports brand. Reporting to the Director of Strategy and Operations you will play a pivotal role in expanding our global footprint and maximizing commercial opportunities across digital and broadcast platforms.
Day to day you will:
Nurture relationships with major platforms to deliver sustained growth in audiences and revenues for News Broadcastings connected listening streaming and podcast products
Manage talkSPORTs relationships with international broadcasters and platforms to capitalise on our global audio rights partnership with the Premier League.
Proactively source and secure innovative new partnership and content distribution opportunities and field new business enquiries.
Collaborate with marketing and programming teams to ensure that platform partners are armed with the latest brand collateral and show highlights.
Facilitate cross-departmental teamwork between commercial programming and technology teams to align on strategic goals.
Monitor market activities and provide detailed reports on business performance and trends.
What were looking for from you:
Proven ability to manage high-level commercial relationships within the media or broadcast industry.
Strong understanding of digital distribution platforms including audio streaming and connected TV.
In depth understanding of the sports media industry including experience in dealing with premium sports rights
Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across diverse internal teams.
Sharp analytical mindset focused on identifying growth opportunities and reporting on market trends.
Experience working in a fast-paced environment where strategic thinking and proactive problem-solving are key.
