Job Summary

Location: Scotland (field-based with travel)
Employer: Were working with a leading distributor of industrial automation & control products to recruit a Product Sales Specialist for their Automation & Software team. This is a technical sales role where youll be responsible for supporting existing customers and developing new business across Scotland with a focus on PLC HMI and software solutions plus complementary third-party products.

The role will include:

Driving profitable growth of the Automation & Software business in your region
Building and developing new business opportunities and target accounts
Providing technical advice pre-sales support and training to customers and colleagues
Delivering workshops and joint customer visits with colleagues and partners
Acting as a trusted specialist for automation and software solutions

Were looking for someone who:

Holds an HNC/HND or higher in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
Has strong technical knowledge of PLC HMI and Software products
Ideally has industrial field sales experience (not essential)
Is confident building relationships solving problems and delivering technical solutions
