Job Summary

Our esteemed client an established MNC is searching for a M&E Manager:

Job Responsibilities:

Ensure all Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) works are carried out on time and in full compliance with project specifications standards codes of practice and safety regulations.
Liaise and coordinate with clients consultants authorities and subcontractors to address M&E issues and ensure smooth and efficient project progress.
Lead and coordinate the project site teamincluding M&E engineers structural engineers and architectural coordinatorsto ensure quality workmanship that meets consultant and client expectations.
Attend all project-related meetings (including CCM) and resolve M&E technical issues promptly.
Oversee review and ensure timely submission and approval of M&E shop drawings material submissions and method statements in accordance with the M&E master schedule.
Supervise and guide M&E staff supervisors and subcontractors to ensure works comply with approved drawings material specifications and method statements.
Review and verify site M&E Variation Orders and report M&E progress issues and risks to HQ.
Conduct site inspections quality checks and troubleshooting for M&E systems addressing any technical issues that arise on site.
Study and review consultant specifications drawings schematics and design intent to identify discrepancies; issue RFIs and coordinate resolutions with consultants or clients.
Manage coordinate and oversee all aspects of M&E activities during monthly M&E meetings to ensure alignment across all stakeholders.
Attend to M&E matters during the Defects Liability Period (DLP) and ensure timely rectification.
Participate in Design & Build (D&B) projects together with consultants and architects providing input on technical feasibility and design coordination.

Job Requirements:

Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience with a main contractor or subcontractor.
Proven project experience in condominiums commercial buildings data centres and AEI (Asset Enhancement Initiative) projects.
Experience in consultancy design and estimation will be an added advantage.
Strong leadership and team management skills with experience supervising site engineers and M&E staff.
Excellent communication coordination and stakeholder management abilities.
Strong technical knowledge of M&E systems codes of practice and standards.
Ability to review and interpret engineering drawings specifications and tender documents.
Hands-on experience with project planning scheduling and monitoring M&E works.

Additional Information:

Salary: Up to SGD 10000 AWS VB (1-2 Months)
Working Location: City Hall
Working Hours: 5 Days Work 9am - 6pm
