About the Opportunity

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Draftsman Architectural and Interior Designer to join their team. This role is ideal for a technical specialist with 2 to 5 years of experience who thrives on producing high-quality 2D and 3D documentation using BIM technology.

You will play a crucial support role working closely with architects and designers to translate design briefs into accurate technical drawings and models.

Key Responsibilities

• BIM Modeling & Drafting: Prepare and produce accurate 2D and 3D architectural/interior design drawings and models using Revit (Mandatory).
• Technical Interpretation: Interpret design briefs engineering specifications and technical data to create detailed plans and schematics.
• Collaboration: Work closely with architects interior designers and project stakeholders to understand requirements and incorporate design changes efficiently.
• Compliance: Ensure all drawings and documentation comply with relevant industry standards regulations and internal company policies.
• Documentation Management: Maintain an organized system for storing and retrieving architectural and interior design documentation.
• Team Support: Support the wider design team with any ad-hoc drafting or documentation tasks as required.

Requirements

• Experience: At least 2 to 5 years of professional experience as a Draftsman or Revit Technician ideally within the Architecture or Interior Design industry.
• Education: Formal qualification (Diploma/Degree) in Architecture Interior Design or a related drafting technical discipline.
• Software Proficiency:
  • Must-Have: Strong proficiency in Revit (BIM software).
  • Required: Proficient in Enscape Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.
• Technical Skills: Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate high-quality technical drawings.
• Soft Skills:
  • Good problem-solving and analytical skills to interpret specifications.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams.

Remuneration

• Salary Range: RM 2500 RM 3000 per month (commensurate with skill level and experience).
