As an Accounting Specialist on our team you will:

- Record and classify accounting transactions in the general ledger (income expenses assets liabilities etc.)
- Prepare and review balance sheets financial statements and monthly quarterly and annual closing reports
- Reconcile bank accounts and customer/supplier accounts ensuring data accuracy and consistency
- Manage invoicing and control of collections and payments ensuring correct VAT application and compliance with tax regulations
- Support the preparation of tax declarations such as VAT income tax and corporate tax
- Maintain up-to-date accounting and financial documentation both physical and digital
- Collaborate with internal and external audits providing accounting data and supporting documents as required
- Assist in preparing financial forecasts and reports
- Monitor inventories and fixed assets performing the corresponding accounting entries and adjustments
- Ensure compliance with accounting and tax regulations as well as with the companys internal policies

Requirements:

- A proficient or bilingual level of Spanish and advanced English
- 2-3 years proven experience in a similar role
- Strong sense of responsibility
- Initiative to take ownership of accounting tasks and act as a positive driver of change
- Team-oriented mindset and good collaboration skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
