Job Summary

Sebenza LLC is a leading IT consulting firm working with a firm based in Montreal QC Canada. We provide innovative solutions and services to a diverse range of clients across various industries. As we continue to grow we are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Network Engineer to join our team on a full-time permanent basis.

As a Network Engineer you will be responsible for designing implementing and maintaining our clients network infrastructure. You will work closely with our clients to understand their network requirements and provide customized solutions to meet their business needs. This role requires a strong understanding of networking principles protocols and technologies as well as the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues.

Key Responsibilities:

Design implement and maintain network infrastructure for clients
Work closely with clients to understand their network requirements and provide customized solutions
Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues
Monitor network performance and ensure high availability and reliability
Implement and maintain network security measures
Perform network upgrades and updates as needed
Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of network infrastructure with other systems
Document network configurations and changes
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in networking technologies
Provide technical support and guidance to other team members and clients

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in computer science Information Technology or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Network Engineer or in a similar role
Strong understanding of networking principles protocols and technologies (TCP/IP DNS DHCP VPN etc.)
Experience with network design and implementation including LAN WAN and wireless networks
Experience with network security including firewalls intrusion detection systems and other security measures
Knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMware Hyper-V) is an asset
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Industry certifications (CCNA CCNP etc.) are preferred
