Job Summary

You will play a strategic role in the design and delivery of large-scale projects related to intelligent transportation systems traffic signals and their programming roadway lighting as well as various specialized transportation electrical engineering projects. You will work in a collaborative stimulating environment focused on technical excellence.

Job Responsibilities

  • Design plans and carry out technical analyses for traffic signal and roadway lighting projects
  • Prepare technical reports and electrical engineering specifications
  • Conduct photometric studies using specialized software
  • Perform traffic signal simulations and programming using specialized software
  • Prepare quantity take-offs and cost estimates in accordance with established methods
  • Coordinate projects with clients internal teams and external partners
  • Oversee work carried out by contractors and ensure compliance with technical requirements

Qualifications :

 

  • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Civil Engineering or any other relevant experience
  • Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ) or eligible for membership
  • Minimum of three years of relevant experience in the design and supervision of projects related to mobility intelligent transportation systems traffic signals or roadway lighting
  • Proficiency in AGI32 software for photometric studies; AutoCAD is considered an asset
  • Excellent command of French both spoken and written
  • ASP Construction card (Construction Health and Safety certification) considered an asset
