The Group Head Business Development & Sales is the senior commercial leader accountable for originating structuring and closing large enterprise and institutional deals across our companys digital infrastructure and enterprise software portfolio. This hands-on revenue-focused role requires strategic execution strong commercial acumen and direct responsibility for developing and selling:
ERP CRM BPM & workflow automation solutions
Cloud migration & enterprise cloud solutions (Azure-led)
Identity & access management solutions
Data analytics & business intelligence platforms
Custom fintech & insurtech platforms
Zoho software suite (CRM HR Finance Analytics Projects)
Core banking & digital lending platforms
1. Enterprise Revenue Generation
Drive enterprise and institutional revenue growth in Nigeria and assigned African markets
Personally originate and close deals worth 100M
Build and manage a strong pipeline of large complex opportunities
Execute the group sales strategy aligned with Country Manager and Africa BD leadership
2. Strategic Sales & Deal Closure
Lead sales engagements with banks insurance companies large enterprises government MDAs and regulated institutions
Manage long complex sales cycles involving executive stakeholders
Lead RFPs RFQs tenders and contract negotiations
3. Portfolio Sales Leadership
Drive sales across enterprise automation Zoho software cloud infrastructure fintech/insurtech and core banking/digital lending systems
Collaborate with solution architects and delivery teams to structure winning solutions
4. Account Development & Executive Relationships
Build and maintain relationships with C-suite and senior decision-makers
Expand existing enterprise accounts through cross-sell and upsell opportunities
Position CodeBytes as a strategic long-term technology partner
5. Internal Collaboration & Leadership
Work closely with Country Manager Executive Director BD technical delivery and product teams
Support Country Managers and BD teams in major pursuits
Provide market intelligence and feedback to leadership
Total enterprise revenue generated
Number and value of 100M deals closed
Sales pipeline size and quality
Deal conversion rate
Account expansion and retention
Contribution to regional and group growth targets
Education:
Bachelors degree in Business IT Engineering or related discipline
MBA or postgraduate qualification is an advantage
Experience:
15 years in enterprise software and technology sales
Proven success selling ERP CRM BPM cloud solutions data analytics/BI fintech/insurtech core banking and Zoho platforms
Track record of closing large enterprise and public-sector deals (100M)
Industry Network (Critical):
Active network with CEOs CIOs CTOs CFOs bank and insurance executives government decision-makers and heads of IT Procurement Finance and Digital Transformation
