Job Description
We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Medical Officer to join our clinical team in Lagos. The ideal candidate will possess strong diagnostic abilities excellent communication skills and a genuine commitment to delivering high-quality patient care. The role involves managing a wide range of medical cases while working closely with supervising consultants to ensure effective treatment outcomes.
Key Responsibilities

Evaluate patients medical history symptoms and concerns.

Provide treatment and preventive healthcare services under the supervision of the Medical Director.

Conduct physical examinations interpret test results and diagnose illnesses.

Communicate clearly with patients about diagnoses treatment procedures and medications.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient documentation using Electronic Medical Records (EMR).

Refer patients to specialists/consultants when advanced care is required.

Ensure confidentiality impartiality and professionalism in patient care.

Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals and clinical teams.

Provide guidance and support to nursing staff and junior clinical personnel.
Requirements

MBBS degree from a recognized and accredited institution.

1 - 3 years of post-NYSC clinical experience.

Current and valid practicing license with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).

Strong knowledge of general medical practice and patient care.

Proficiency in computer use and EMR systems.

Excellent communication counseling and interpersonal skills.

Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
