About the Role:
The Sales Engineer Capital Equipment is responsible for driving revenue growth through the sale of advanced industrial mixing and processing equipment. This role combines technical expertise with consultative selling to support both new business development and expansion within existing accounts. The position requires frequent travel hands on product demonstrations and close collaboration with engineering and operations teams to deliver customer focused solutions across a broad range of industrial applications.
Responsibilities:

Manage the full sales cycle for capital equipment including lead generation prospect qualification presentations demonstrations and closing.

Independently generate new leads through cold outreach referrals and territory driven business development activities.

Deliver compelling hands on product demonstrations at customer facilities and industry events.

Articulate technical capabilities product value and application benefits to both technical and non technical stakeholders.

Respond to RFIs RFPs and RFQs with accurate technical and commercial information.
-
Represent products at trade shows conferences seminars and industry symposiums.

Collaborate with internal engineering product management and operations teams to communicate customer requirements and emerging application needs.

Maintain accurate sales forecasts opportunity tracking and customer records within CRM systems.

Identify and resolve customer technical issues throughout the sales and product life cycle to ensure customer satisfaction.

Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets while adhering to company policies and professional standards.
Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
-
Five or more years of experience in capital equipment sales or technical sales roles.
-
Strong knowledge of industrial processing manufacturing equipment or materials handling technologies.
-
Proven ability to sell complex technical products and manage long sales cycles.
-
Excellent presentation written and verbal communication skills.
-
High level of integrity professionalism and customer focus.
-
Ability to travel up to 50 percent of the time and work in a field based sales environment.
-
Valid drivers license and ability to perform on site equipment installation and demonstrations.
-
Strong organizational analytical and problem solving skills.
