Job Summary
Job Position: Service Technician
Our client a renowned company in the manufacturing and servicing of customized air compressors vacuum systems blowers and controls is looking for experienced Service Technicians. This role is crucial in maintaining the high standard of service that the company is known for. Our client offers comprehensive benefits including medical dental and vision insurance along with a 7% profit sharing plan with a 3% match.
Responsibilities:
- Work either in the shop or field maintaining servicing repairing and installing customers equipment.
- Prepare for the days tasks by reviewing work orders and staging tools parts and other necessary equipment.
- Handle customer interactions service the equipment and carry out pre- and post-call administrative work (work order notes time card inventory/parts used etc.) using the company laptop.
- Work with a team of knowledgeable technicians and contribute to the overall team knowledge.
Qualifications:
- Experience working on compressors pumps controls etc.
- Strong mechanical background
- Self-motivated and self-directed
- Team player who can work well with a team of like-minded technical people
- Highly organized with the ability to handle the administrative side of the role
- Adheres to company culture and values shows integrity takes initiative to find and deliver solutions
- Strong work ethic career-oriented and takes a long-term view of their role
