Job Summary
The Salesforce Release Manager supports and coordinates the release process across multiple complex Salesforce orgs within a leading higher education institution. This vital role ensures that technology releases are delivered on time within scope and of high quality managing the CI/CD pipeline and facilitating smooth efficient release cycles across various project cadences.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and coordinate the release process across multiple Salesforce orgs and release cadences (weekly 3-week project-based).
- Manage the back-promotion of changes across lower-level orgs to keep all environments in sync.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipeline management preferably with Copado.
- Practical experience with Salesforce deployments (change sets ANT migration Salesforce DX).
- Development of Advanced Flow-based automation including Screen flows Auto-launched Flows and Omni-Channel flows.
- Adherence to DevOps and change management processes.
Required Qualifications/Skills
- 3-5 years of experience in Salesforce release management and as a Salesforce Administrator or Developer.
- Solid understanding of Salesforce best practices and functionality.
- Working knowledge of Salesforce architecture (sandboxes production metadata management).
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines with attention to detail.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills for cross-functional teamwork.
- Minimum Years Experience 3 years (3-5 years in Release Management/Admin/Developer role)
- Required Certifications: Salesforce Certified Administrator AND Copado Fundamentals I.
