About the Role:
The Tax Supervisor plays a key role in managing and reviewing tax engagements ensuring high-quality service and compliance for a diverse client base. This position is ideal for a tax professional seeking leadership growth and opportunities to engage with complex tax matters particularly within nonprofits and trusts & estates.

Key Responsibilities:

Review and prepare nonprofit individual corporate partnership and fiduciary tax returns.
Manage multiple client engagements ensuring timely completion and adherence to professional standards.
Conduct tax research and provide strategic recommendations to clients.
Mentor and train junior staff providing feedback and professional development support.
Assist in client relationship management including planning meetings and delivering proactive tax advice.
Collaborate with partners and managers to identify opportunities for growth and efficiency.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field; Masters in Taxation preferred.
Active CPA license highly preferred.
4-7 years of progressive public accounting experience with a focus on taxation.
Strong technical knowledge of federal and state tax compliance and reporting.
Desirable: Experience in nonprofits trust and estate taxation including compliance planning and fiduciary matters.
Excellent communication analytical and leadership skills.
