Job Title: Tax Supervisor
Salary: $105K-$130K/ yr DOE
Location: Alpharetta GA
About the Role:
The Tax Supervisor plays a key role in managing and reviewing tax engagements ensuring high-quality service and compliance for a diverse client base. This position is ideal for a tax professional seeking leadership growth and opportunities to engage with complex tax matters particularly within nonprofits and trusts & estates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and prepare nonprofit individual corporate partnership and fiduciary tax returns.
- Manage multiple client engagements ensuring timely completion and adherence to professional standards.
- Conduct tax research and provide strategic recommendations to clients.
- Mentor and train junior staff providing feedback and professional development support.
- Assist in client relationship management including planning meetings and delivering proactive tax advice.
- Collaborate with partners and managers to identify opportunities for growth and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field; Masters in Taxation preferred.
- Active CPA license highly preferred.
- 4-7 years of progressive public accounting experience with a focus on taxation.
- Strong technical knowledge of federal and state tax compliance and reporting.
- Desirable: Experience in nonprofits trust and estate taxation including compliance planning and fiduciary matters.
- Excellent communication analytical and leadership skills.
