Inside Sales Commercial Insurance

Were expanding and hiring a Commercial Insurance Producer to join our inside sales team in a newly created growth role. This position is ideal for sales-driven professionals who thrive in a high-volume quoting conversion and cross-selling environment and are looking to build long-term residual income while growing into an advisory-level commercial producer.

This role is a core growth engine for the firm with plans to hire one new producer per quarter for the next three quarters.

Compensation & Earnings Potential

  • Hourly rate: $32-35/hr.
  • Compensation structure includes:
    • Base salary

    • Growth bonus

    • Producer bonus

    • Residual commissions

    • Flat-fee commission structure (internal rate; not disclosed externally)
  • Full benefits package

    • Profit sharing

What Youll Do

  • Quote sell and cross-sell commercial insurance lines in a high-volume inside sales model
  • Convert inbound and outbound opportunities with a strong close rate (approximately 50%)
  • Work an active and established pipeline (approximately $720K rolling pipeline)
  • Educate clients and transition relationships toward advisory-level engagements
  • Collaborate closely with account management and service teams to ensure smooth handoffs
  • Maintain a consultative ethical approach to commercial risk solutions

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 25 years of insurance or inside sales experience

  • Commercial lines experience preferred; strong candidates from high-volume carriers or agencies encouraged
  • Motivated by:

    • Autonomy and ownership of outcomes

    • Residual commission income

    • Access to a broader range of commercial products and markets

    • Higher close rates than traditional agency environments

    • A clear path to becoming a trusted commercial advisor
