Key Responsibilities
- Lead talent acquisition and recruitment for production engineering and skilled trades positions.
- Manage employee relations conflict resolution and disciplinary processes within the manufacturing plant.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures ensuring compliance with labor laws and safety regulations (e.g. OSHA).
- Oversee performance management systems including appraisals goal setting and development plans for all plant personnel.
- Coordinate and facilitate training programs focused on safety quality new equipment operation and leadership development.
- Administer compensation and benefits programs ensuring competitiveness and equity for manufacturing roles.
- Drive initiatives to improve employee engagement retention and foster a positive safety-conscious workplace culture.
Recommended Qualifications
- Proven experience as an HR Manager in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong understanding of labor laws OSHA regulations and HR compliance specific to manufacturing.
- Demonstrated expertise in employee relations conflict resolution and grievance handling.
- Experience with full-cycle talent acquisition for production skilled trades and technical roles.
- Ability to align HR strategy with operational goals promoting a positive and safe work culture.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with labor relations or collective bargaining agreements.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and manufacturing safety best practices.
- Bilingual proficiency (e.g. Spanish/English).
- Experience with time & attendance systems common in manufacturing environments.
