Key Responsibilities

• Lead talent acquisition and recruitment for production engineering and skilled trades positions.
• Manage employee relations conflict resolution and disciplinary processes within the manufacturing plant.
• Develop and implement HR policies and procedures ensuring compliance with labor laws and safety regulations (e.g. OSHA).
• Oversee performance management systems including appraisals goal setting and development plans for all plant personnel.
• Coordinate and facilitate training programs focused on safety quality new equipment operation and leadership development.
• Administer compensation and benefits programs ensuring competitiveness and equity for manufacturing roles.
• Drive initiatives to improve employee engagement retention and foster a positive safety-conscious workplace culture.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience as an HR Manager in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong understanding of labor laws OSHA regulations and HR compliance specific to manufacturing.
• Demonstrated expertise in employee relations conflict resolution and grievance handling.
• Experience with full-cycle talent acquisition for production skilled trades and technical roles.
• Ability to align HR strategy with operational goals promoting a positive and safe work culture.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with labor relations or collective bargaining agreements.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and manufacturing safety best practices.
• Bilingual proficiency (e.g. Spanish/English).
• Experience with time & attendance systems common in manufacturing environments.
