Key Responsibilities
- Manage all daily plant operations to ensure production targets quality standards and safety protocols are met.
- Develop and implement operational strategies budgets and resource allocation plans to optimize plant performance.
- Lead mentor and develop plant staff fostering a culture of accountability continuous improvement and teamwork.
- Ensure strict adherence to all health safety environmental and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives (e.g. Lean Six Sigma) to enhance efficiency reduce waste and improve product quality.
- Oversee maintenance programs to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) analyze data and report on plant performance to senior management.
Recommended Qualifications
- Minimum 7-10 years of experience in manufacturing operations with at least 3-5 years in a senior leadership or management role.
- Proven track record in P&L management budgeting and cost control within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding and application of Lean Manufacturing principles Six Sigma and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to lead mentor and develop large diverse teams to achieve operational excellence and safety goals.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering Operations Management Business Administration or a related technical field.
Bonus Qualifications
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
- Proficiency with advanced ERP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle)
- Experience implementing Industry 4.0 technologies (e.g. automation IoT)
- Bilingual proficiency (e.g. Spanish)
