Job Summary

This job is with Work Together.

Responsibilities:

Create detailed drawings and plans for construction projects using Industry Foundation Classes (IFC) standards.
Work closely with engineers architects and other professionals to ensure accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
Modify and update designs according to feedback and instructions from senior project team members.
Interpret and apply project documentation in the preparation of drawings.
Maintain organized records of all drawings and related documents.
Ensure that all designs meet applicable codes and standards.
Collaborate with team members to resolve issues related to design challenges.
Conduct site visits as necessary to verify existing conditions and incorporate them into design documents.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a draftsman with focus on IFC standards.
Strong proficiency in drafting software such as AutoCAD Revit or similar tools.
Excellent understanding of construction documents and principles.
Ability to work efficiently in a collaborative team-oriented environment.
Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in drawings.
Good communication skills for liaising with project stakeholders.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 6-10 years of experience working as a draftsman in a construction or engineering setting.
Certification or diploma in drafting architecture engineering or a related technical field required.
Familiarity with building regulations and industry practices.
Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and blueprints.
