Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic German-speaking sales professional to join our team as a Land Experience Sales this role you will be responsible for promoting and selling our land experiences to cruise ship passengers primarily those who speak German. You will work closely with our team of experts to create customized packages and itineraries that meet the needs and preferences of our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain relationships with cruise ship passengers travel agents and other potential clients
- Promote and sell our land experiences to German-speaking passengers
- Respond to inquiries and provide information about our services packages and itineraries
- Collaborate with our team of experts to create customized land experiences for clients
- Prepare and present proposals and quotes to clients
- Process bookings and payments accurately and efficiently
- Follow up with clients post-experience to ensure satisfaction and gather feedback
- Attend trade shows and networking events to promote our services and generate new business
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor offerings
Qualifications:
- Fluency in German is required
- Previous sales experience preferably in the travel or hospitality industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong negotiation and closing skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with booking systems is an asset
- Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as needed
