Job Summary
Staff Accountant
Salary: $2000-$2500
Position Summary:
The Staff Accountant will support the Vice President of Finance by managing day-to-day
accounting functions and maintaining accurate financial records. This role is responsible for
accounts payable and receivable financial reporting support vendor management and
assisting with tax-related filings. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented organized and
comfortable handling multiple accounting tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable including invoicing collections
and payment processing
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
Prepare and assist with monthly quarterly and annual financial statements
Reconcile bank accounts credit cards and other balance sheet accounts
Assist with tax filings including sales tax property tax and coordination with external
tax advisors or CPAs
Manage vendor relationships including setup documentation and payment inquiries
Prepare financial models for investor communications
Support budgeting forecasting and cash flow tracking as needed
Maintain organized financial records and supporting documentation
Assist with audits and financial reviews
Perform other bookkeeping and accounting duties as assigned
Qualifications:
5-10 years accounting experience at a Big Four firm preferred
Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial reporting
Experience with QuickBooks and
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Ability to handle confidential financial information
Strong communication skills and ability to work closely with finance leadership
Preferred Qualifications:
Associates or Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field
Experience supporting senior finance leadership or working in a growing organization
Familiarity with multi-entity or multi-location accounting environments
