Tonic BI Account Executive
Job description
We are seeking a highly motivated Tonic BI Account Executive to drive the commercial growth of Tonic BI our subscription-based insights and analytics platform for life sciences companies.
This role is focused on selling a scalable standalone product to pharmaceutical clients working closely with Sales Product and Customer Success to establish Tonic BI as a core decision-making tool for brand insights and commercial teams.
Key responsibilities:
Product-Focused Sales Execution
Own the sales cycle for Tonic BI from qualification to close
Position Tonic BI as a strategic insights platform not a custom or services-led solution
Deliver compelling product demos and value-based presentations to pharma stakeholders
Revenue Growth
Acquire new Tonic BI customers and drive expansion within existing accounts
Meet and exceed subscription revenue targets
Support upsell and cross-sell opportunities in collaboration with regional sales teams
Client Engagement
Act as a trusted advisor to pharma insights brand and commercial teams
Understand client analytics needs and translate them into clear product value
Gather structured customer feedback to inform product development
Operational Excellence
Maintain accurate pipeline and forecasting in CRM tools
Work closely with Product and Data teams to continuously refine positioning and use cases
Provide regular reporting on deal progress objections and market trends
Qualifications and Experience
Experience: 35 years in B2B sales of SaaS analytics BI or data products in healthcare
Industry knowledge: Experience selling into pharmaceutical or life sciences companies is strongly preferred
Language skills: Fluency in English; additional European languages are a plus
Track Record: Proven success selling subscription-based products
Education: Bachelors degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences
