About the PositionThe CFPA Administrative Assistant provides program administrative fiscal committee and academic support and assistance to the Dean Operations Manager and Departments in College of Fine and Performing Arts to facilitate the day-to-day operations of the Colleges Deans Office.
Required Qualifications
  • Associates Degree and three years of progressively responsible high-level clerical experience OR equivalent education/experience
  • Strong technical skills in Microsoft Office Suite with an emphasis on Excel
  • Excellent grammar spelling and proofreading skills
  • Proven ability to communicate orally and in writing including disseminating policies procedures and general information
  • Strong organizational skills with an ability to establish priorities
  • Ability to work in an environment with frequent disruptions while generating high quality work with careful attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative for daily work
  • Ability to establish and maintain a friendly cooperative team environment with an inclusive group of students faculty and staff
  • Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service and to maintain professional demeanor in stressful situations
  • Demonstrated ability to employ discretion in communication and maintain confidentiality in a high level administrative office

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelors Degree
  • Demonstrated experience with fiscal or budgeting processes in a business/office setting
  • Experience working in a higher education institution
  • Experience with Banner and Millennium FAST
  • Experience with Access or other database management systems
  • Project Management Experience

Salary$4402 - $5429/month depending on qualifications and experience
