The Opportunity & Role Profile
An established Islington school is seeking a professional HR Manager. You will lead the personnel function for a large staff body ensuring the school follows best-practice recruitment retention and employee relations policies while maintaining a robust Single Central Record (SCR).
Core Responsibilities & Duties Scope
Recruitment & Safeguarding: Leading safer recruitment processes and ensuring all background checks meet statutory DfE and ISI requirements.
Employee Relations: Providing expert advice to the SLT on performance management staff wellbeing and employment law.
Compliance Management: Overseeing personnel files managing the HR aspects of payroll and contributing to school-wide policy development.

Essential Requirements: CIPD qualification (Level 5) and significant HR management experience preferably in an educational setting.
