HYROX is a global movement born in Germany in 2017 uniting running and functional fitness into the ultimate competition format. With events on five continents we are scaling faster than ever. To ensure our North American Tour runs with clockwork precision we are looking for a highly organized and proactive Operations Manager to join our crew.
You are the heartbeat of our events. You dont just watch things happen; you make them happen. From budget control to on-site execution you ensure every athlete and spectator experiences the excellence HYROX is known for.
YOUR TASKS
- Event Execution: You are the backbone of our operations. You will be on-site for all North American events (approx. 14 per season) leading the charge from the first trucks arrival (load-in) to the final pack-out (break-down).
- Infrastructure & Venue Management: You own the floor. Based on venue maps you oversee the precise placement of stages booths and the entire event infrastructure ensuring every square inch of the venue is optimized.
- Logistics & Inventory Mastery: You maintain total control over our equipment kits. Between seasons you lead the Roadshow Preparation ensuring all gear is maintained replenished and ready for high-performance use.
- Operational Budgeting: You keep the engine running efficiently. This includes monitoring event budgets tracking payments and managing invoices to ensure we hit our financial targets without compromising quality.
- Team & Safety Leadership: You manage mentor and recruit our local crews and freelancers. As the on-site Safety Officer you conduct risk assessments and ensure every worker and athlete stays safe under your watch.
- 360 Coordination: You are the central link between vendors project managers and the local crew. You also handle the logistics behind the logistics including travel and accommodation for the entire team.
YOUR PROFILE
- Experience: You bring 3 years of hands-on experience in event operations or logistics ideally in a fast-paced international environment.
- Operational Excellence: You are a master of organization. You can multitask under extreme pressure prioritize on the fly and you have an unwavering attention to detail.
- The HYROX Mindset: You have a passion for sports and event management. You lead with a collaborative attitude and are ready to work when the world sleepsweekends nights and holidays are part of the game.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel/Google Drive is a must. If you can navigate AutoCAD thats a massive plus.
- Certifications: You hold a valid drivers license. A forklift/scissor lift license and a first aid certificate are highly desirable.
- Communication: You are a proactive problem solver and find solutions before they become problems.
