Job Summary

Position Summary:

This position will be part of the Lockheed Martin Greenville Support Operations (GSO) Aircraft Maintenance Team supporting New Production Delivery of the F-16 at Greenville South Carolina.
Responsible for incoming and outgoing flight operations follow on maintenance and routine trouble shooting.
Mechanic will perform/assist with all launch recovery preflight/thru flight/Basic Post Flight inspections ground handling maintenance engine runs operational checkouts and servicing.
Perform routine troubleshooting installation repair and maintenance of all electro-mechanical and Pnuedralic systems and components on the aircraft.
Responsible for the acceptableness of all electrical hydraulic-pneumatic propulsion landing gear flight control surfaces and periodic inspections general airframe condition aircraft furnishings and crew escape system of the aircraft.
Will be required to remove panels and associated hardware to obtain access equipment requiring repair.

Primary Responsibilities:

The Production Flightline APG F-16 Technician will also need to be knowledgeable in aircraft systems operation and maintenance to include:

Landing gear

Powerplants

Flight controls

Fueling/Defueling

Aircraft movement/Launch & Recovery

Preferred:

Aircraft Flightline Experience is Preferred
Clearance at minimum must be in process at time of start
