As a Mechanic at DN you will become an integral part of our team dedicated to maintaining and repairing our equipment ensuring they remain in peak operational condition. You will play a crucial role in implementing effective preventative maintenance practices to uphold the reliability and performance of our equipment. Success in this role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong technical skills the ability to work independently or as a part of a team and the ability to provide guidance and support to the mechanic team.

Primary Responsibilities

    • Maintain and update equipment availability records to ensure accurate tracking andsupport scheduling efficiency. (Maintain/Update Equipment Availability)
    • Preform preventative maintenance and repair on small tools hydraulic diesel andpneumatic equipment and other equipment related to the construction of ourconcrete storage tanks. (Tools & Support Equipment PM) (Tools & support
    • Equipment Repairs)
    • Conduct thorough equipment return inspections to assess condition documentdamages and ensure readiness for future deployment.
    • Inventory control of equipment parts required to service small tools generatorspressure washers and other general construction tools on their return to thewarehouse.
    • Handle the requisition and ordering of parts to ensure the availability of necessarycomponents for equipment maintenance and repairs.
    • Provide support for general small tools maintenance such as generators pressure washers sandblasters nail guns and general construction tools.
    • Light welding fabrication and general maintenance of warehouse/yard equipmentsuch as forklifts etc.
    • Assist with preventative maintenance and troubleshooting over the phone with ourproject teams.
    • Conduct thorough failure analysis on equipment to determine root causes ofmechanical issues and prevent future breakdowns.
    • Review and assess field inspection reports submitted through HCSS to identifymaintenance needs and prioritize repairs.
    • Provide guidance training and hands-on support to Assistant Mechanics to ensureproper repair procedures and promote skill development within the team.
    • Maintain a clean and organized mechanic and tool storage area

Qualifications

    • 3 years of experience performing maintenance and repairs on tools and equipment preferably hydraulic electrical diesel and pneumatic.
    • Experience performing maintenance and repair on hydraulic diesel and pneumatic equipment.
    • Basic technology skills including Microsoft Office and Excel.
    • Ability to travel as needed.
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
