Job Summary

Security Account Executive

As a Security Account Executive you will play a key role in driving business growth by identifying new opportunities expanding existing client relationships and delivering tailored electronic security solutions. This is a consultative customer-facing role where you will work closely with decision-makers to understand their security challenges and propose value-driven solutions across intrusion detection video surveillance access control fire alarm systems and monitoring services.

You will manage the full sales cycle-from prospecting and needs assessment to proposal development closing and long-term account management-while collaborating with internal technical and operations teams to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate new business through prospecting networking and referrals
  • Manage and grow an existing portfolio of commercial and institutional customers
  • Conduct site assessments and consult with clients to identify security needs
  • Present and sell customized electronic security solutions
  • Develop proposals negotiate contracts and close deals
  • Maintain accurate sales activity and pipeline data in the CRM
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery and ongoing service

Qualifications:

  • 3 years of proven success in B2B sales; experience in electronic security or low-voltage systems preferred
  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn system design principles (training provided)
  • Excellent communication negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated goal-oriented and comfortable working independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms (Zoho CRM experience is a plus)
  • Valid drivers license and reliable transportation

Preferred Experience:

  • Familiarity with security brands such as Honeywell DMP Exacq Avigilon Verkada or similar
  • Experience selling to commercial multi-site or institutional clients
  • Understanding of RMR-based sales models and service agreement selling
