Job Description:
Senior Java Developer with hands-on experience in Java Spring Boot REST APIs Microservices and strong AWS skills. The role focuses on building a new cloud-based application.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Work with Business Analysts to understand requirements and translate them into design
Source code development
Unit test case development
Functional and system integration testing support and deployment
Integrate component design
Support production as needed
Meet development schedules

Required Skills:
Java
Spring Boot
REST APIs
Microservices
AWS (Lambda S3 ECS/EKS CloudWatch SQS/SNS)
Java lambda expressions
OOAD design patterns
SQL database design and stored procedures
Multi-threading using core Java libraries and collections
Web application security considerations
Prior experience developing property & casualty (P&C) applications

Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree

Minimum 8 years of experience developing web-based applications

Minimum 6 years development experience in Java/J2EE technologies

Experience with multi-threading using core Java libraries collections etc.

Experience with Spring Boot

Experience using and implementing RESTful web services using Micro-services

Strong understanding of SQL database design and stored procedures

Familiarity with Web application security considerations

Prior experience developing property & casualty (P&C) applications a plus
