Welcome to the Civil & Utility Team at Novonesis

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Manager to lead our Civil & Utility Project Manager team playing a key role in the execution of our CAPEX projects. As a leader you will head a skilled and committed competent team and ensure both high-quality project delivery and a strong supportive team environment according to our Project Model and Governance.

In this role you will become part of our dedicated project department where we work closely together to ensure the efficient planning and execution of both small and large projects. The department is characterized by a high level of professionalism cross-functional collaboration and a practical approach to problem-solving. We focus on structure safety and quality in everything we do and we value colleagues who take responsibility and contribute to a good working environment.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Leading the Civil & Utility component team with a strong focus on efficient CAPEX project execution from Conceptual design to Hand Over to our colleges in Production

• Supporting employees in achieving their goals through coaching sparring and continuous follow-up

• Ensuring governance structure and quality across all project deliverables

• Developing the team and individual employees in alignment with the companys overall strategic direction

• Contributing to the further development and optimization of tools standards and processes across the project organization

Qualifications:

• Preferably a minimum of 23 years of experience leading project managers within CAPEX project execution in a comparable industry (biotech pharma industrial or energy)

• Relevant educational background such as a BSc/MSc in civil engineering construction management or architectural design

• Strong ability to maintain an overview and navigate in complex project environments

• Solid People Manager skills you motivate engage and set direction for your team.

• Preferable project management skills.

• Thoroughly knowledge of construction and technical installations as well as contractual and legal relations with consultants and suppliers. (AB system)

• Competences within one or more of the following areas: Production Clean room Cold room warehouse Warehouse Laboratories office Hygienic building design Ventilation BMS supply utilities energy management safety and environment construction management up to date legislation and regulations relevant within the construction field.

We expect that you are proactive and structured with strong prioritization skills have a development-oriented mindset with a natural drive for improvement and are able to work independently while showing initiative and drive.

You are an excellent communicator who works effectively with stakeholders across the organization and communicates confidently in English both in writing and speaking.
